The Logan Brothers and our friends from the band Whiskey Stomp are collaborating for a great show as part of The Music on the Mountain Series at the Glenwood Caverns and Adventure Park this Saturday, June 3, from 6-10pm. We will share the big, outdoor stage, alternating one-hour sets. You can learn more about the Music on the Mountain Series by clicking here. This should be a lot of fun and expect some movement from one band to the next, sometimes sharing
musicians from band to band. We play music of similar genres, but with a completely different sound: The Logan Brothers, as you know, is a power trio and Whiskey Stomp uses from four to six musicians depending on their gigs. Anyway, we are all going to have a great time with each other and we hope that you will join in for the fun. As you know, The Caverns is a great place to hear music and we're all happy to be a part of their summer program. The Logan Brothers will be returning two more times at the Caverns this summer as part of their Friday Afternoon Club Series in June and July. Remember, to ride the tram for free, bring some cans of food for the Caverns' food drive. The Logan Brothers and Whiskey Stomp look forward to seeing you there!!!!!!
The Logan Brothers will spend most of Memorial Day Weekend in Carbondale!
On Friday, May 26, we will make our debut at The Marble Distillery. They have really committed to live music and you can find a band there almost every Friday evening. We are really excited to play here and hope to be set up in the foyer, just outside the Distillery, so that people can enjoy the music both inside and outside. The weather should be great and the action too on the south side of Main Street in Carbondale this evening. We play from 8-11pm. Please come and support this great venue and our band.
The next evening, Saturday, May 27, we'll be playing on the lawn at White House Pizza (on the North side of Main Street in Carbondale), from 7-10pm. If you haven't been to White House in a while, they have totally remodeled and the Bar area can be opened up to the deck for a great open-aired feel. We'll be set up on the lawn adjacent to the deck, so it is possible to hear the music from the deck or the bar and inside tables. Maybe I am biased, but I think they serve the best pizza in the Roaring Fork Valley. come and enjoy a pizza and music feast on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
We hope to see you in Carbondale for the final weekend in May for great music and fun!
This Thursday and Saturday are busy for The Logan Brothers.
On Thursday, May 11, we're returning to The Loyal Brothers Lounge as a part of their Thursday Night Rides Series (see our post below for all the details about it). Following a group ride originating from The Loyal Brothers Lounge, the music will begin (8pm-11pm), and the party starts. There will be giveaways and just plain Thursday night fun.
On Saturday, May 13, it's a Logan Brothers' first: two gigs in one day. In the early afternoon, 12:15-1:45pm, The Logan Brothers Duo (unfortunately our drummer Danny will be out of town) are playing as one of four bands at The Carbondale Dandelion Days (at Sopris Park, Downtown Carbondale). There are booths, demonstrations, food and so much more. Click Here for more information about this event.
Starting at 5pm and continuing until 8pm this same Saturday, The Logan Brothers Duo will be playing at The Summit Canyon Mountaineering's Grand Opening Celebration. There will be a beer garden, games, incredible sales, and $20,000.00 worth of giveaways from many of the companies that they represent (pategonia, for example)! This will be a very fun event. While the celebration goes on all day, it really cranks up from 5-8pm.
Come to as many or all the events that you can; we look forward to seeing you!!!
